Ray Davidson, age 83 passed away March 29, 2012 at Spring Meadows. Visitation will be Sunday April 1st, 2012 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Monday April 2nd, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at Sykes Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Davidson was born January 12, 1929 in Montgomery County, son of the late Arthur Davidson and Golda Yarbrough Davidson. He was also preceded in death by his first wife Jean Davidson.
He was an employee of Clarksville Auto Parts for many years and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Wilma Lisembee Davidson; his son Dan Davidson of Cottage Grove, TN; Three step-daughters, Brenda Moseley of Clarksville, Bonnie Bryant of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; Three step-sons Robert Bryant, Bruce Bryant, Johnny Bryant, all of Clarksville; Two Grandchildren, Brent Davidson of Franklin, TN and Justin Davidson of Madison, TN, and four Great-Grandchildren. He is also survived by his three sisters, Betty Spicer of Charlotte, TN, Gladys Briggs of Cadiz, KY, and Nellie Ruth Hillis of Oregon.
Pallbearers will be Donnie and Warren Vaughn, Don Griffey, David Bryant, Ross Bryant, Michael Moseley.
