Arelene Murphy

Arelene Joan Murphy, age 77 of Lewisville,TX will passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020. The family will visit with friends on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Sykes Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A graveside service will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. She was born on November 15, 1942 in Rockville Centre, NY to Frederick and Helen Havner Christensen. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, crocheting, and shopping.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Aaron Murphy, Sr. and brothers, Christopher and Russell Christensen. She is survived by her son, Lloyd(Kris) Murphy, Jr.; grandchildren: Rachelle Phifer, Amanda Murphy, and Brendan Murphy; and great-granddaughter, Amara Phifer-Moore.
