Antoine Roberts

A Celebration of Life service will be Monday, February 10, 2020 at 3:00PM at Sykes Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until the time of service Monday at the funeral home. Antoine passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare. He was born December 27, 1997 in Detroit, Michigan to his mother Latyash Roberts. He graduated from Ben Carson High School and was second in command in ROTC. He also earned his CNA Certificate and played for the Federick Douglas football team. Antoine served in the United States Army and received a National Defense Service Medal.

Antoine is survived by his wife Melanie Roberts; daughters; Anais Valentine Roberts and Arielle Marjorie Roberts; mother Latyash Roberts and Dawud Shabazz who raised him as his own; brothers: Elijah Shabazz, Jeremiah Shabazz, Nathan Shabazz, Ethan Shabazz, and Zechariah Shabazz.
