Anita Atchley

Anita Grace McNelley Atchley, 71 of Clarksville, TN passed away on June 2, 2021 surrounded by loving family. She was born April 16, 1950 to Rev. John and Jessie McNelley of Scottsboro Alabama.

Anita was the beloved wife of Russell and mother to Olivia Atchley Dillon and Ronald John Atchley. She was the grandmother to Jake and Jaxon Dillon, Lacy Pomales, Ronald John Atchley Jr., Ariana Atchley and one great grandson Miles Atchley.

Survived by her sister Deva Day, sister in law Rona McNelley and brother in law Ronald C. Atchley and many nieces and nephews Anita leaves to cherish her memory many friends and coworkers. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers John McNelley, Darrell McNelley, and sister Linda McNelly Lloyd.
Anita was the Executive Director of the Clarksville Montgomery County Ajax Turner Senior Center for 25 years and made it her life's work.

The family will receive friends at Sykes Funeral Home Saturday June 5th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. There will be a gathering of friends and family for food and fellowship at the Clarksville Montgomery County Ajax Turner Senior Center from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Sunday, June 6, 2021.
