Angela "Angie" Garrett

A Celebration of Life Service for Angela "Angie" Lynne Garrett, 51, of Ft. Campbell, KY will be Monday March 25, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until the hour of service.

Angie was born on March 14, 1973 in Lafayette Indiana, to Shirley Emery and Phil (Kay) Slaughterbeck. Angie left to be with the Lord and her son on March 16, 2024. 

Angie's greatest joy was her family. She loved being a mother to Jackson and a wife to James. She always strived to make everyone around her to be as happy as possible. Angie was a big supporter of the Soldiers being a member of many groups. She volunteered to help in many ways. Angie loved to shop, the thrill of finding the great deal. She loved to cook and make her delicious fudge. 

Angie was preceded in death by her son, Aryne Freeman, maternal grandmother Mary Owens, paternal grandparents, Bessie and Othal Slaughterbeck, and mother-in-law Alice Garrett. In addition to her parents Angie is survived by her loving husband of 16 years CSM James Garrett, son Jackson Garrett, son Christopher Garrett, sister Dawn (Greg Elliott) Addler, brother Daniel Otero, niece Danielle Otero, nephews, Levi (Ashley) Austin, Travis (Tiffany) Austin.
