Funeral service for Amos Whitley, age 35 of Cunningham, will be Thursday, Aug 27, 2015 at 6:30 pm at Sykes Funeral Home. Greg Gibson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, Aug 27, 2015 from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm at Sykes Funeral Home.
Amos passed away on Sunday, Aug 23, 2015 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He was born on Oct 26, 1979 in Nashville, TN to James Robert Whitley and Sandra Jones Whitley. He was associated with the South Clarksville Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He volunteered at Montgomery County Public Library and previously worked at Goodwill. He enjoyed social media, Dallas Cowboys and vintage car shows. He was a graduate of Montgomery Central High School in 1999.
He is survived by his parents, James Robert and Sandra Whitley, brothers; Bobby (Lisa) Whitley, Seth Whitley, and Jesse (Lauren Settle) Whitley; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
