Amie passed away at her home on the morning of March 10. She was born on December 13, 1977 in Anchorage, Alaska. Amie grew up in a loving military family and lived in Germany, Alaska, Iowa, and Tennessee. Amie called Indian Mound, TN home, as that is where she lived most of her life. Amie obtained her B.S. in wildlife biology from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and obtained a M.S. from Murray State. She worked as a wildlife biologist at Fort Campbell.

Amie is preceded in death by her mother Susan Johannes. Amie is survived by her two loving sons Connor and Blake Lehman, husband Brett Lehman, father Jo Johannes, and her sister Mandi(Steve)Bennett, nephew Hunter Bennett, and nieces Sarah and Morgan Bennett.

Amie was diagnosed with breast cancer at the young age of 31. She endured many challenges over the last nine years while battling cancer. She has been a testament of strength, courage, and unbreakable will throughout her entire battle. She truly will never know how many lives she has touched and how many souls she has encouraged. Through the many trials that cancer brings she never once backed down, she never gave up, and she was a rock for her husband, children, family members, and co-workers. She will be deeply missed by all, but the life she lived and the memories she has provided for so many that loved her will live forever.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Lehman, Steve Bennett, Hunter Bennett, Brian Atkins, Roger Burnett, Mikey Wallace, Gene Zirkle, and Daniel Moss. In lieu of flowers donations can be made at the Sarah Cannon Fund, P.O. box 23197 Oklahoma City, OK, 73123.
