Funeral Mass for Alice Benson Cochran, age 90 of Clarksville, will be Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 23, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home. A Rosary Service will be at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Sykes Funeral Home.
Alice passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Tennova Healthcare. She was born on December 26, 1925 in Hardin County, Ohio to Esley and Anna Wolf Benson. She was an active member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Until her death she loved traveling and volunteering with the ICCCW, visiting the hospital and nursing homes. Where she would pray with the patients and offer comfort. She was also a very active volunteer with the Haiti Mission.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of fifty one years, John Cochran, brothers; Walter Benson, Edward Benson, James Benson, Frank Benson, Tom Benson, and John Benson, sister, Mary Appellfeller.
She is survived by her daughters; Diane Carrick, Nancy (Joseph) Kasick, Catherine (Jimmy) Daly, and Mary Beth Ireland, sons; Gregory (Lisa) Cochran, Jeffery Cochran and Brian Cochran, sisters; Irene Ballinger and Barbara Cronin, sixteen grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchildren.
