Alfred Thomsen

Alfred William Thomsen, age 87 of Woodlawn, passed away on Thursday, February 08, 2018 at Tennova Healthcare.  He was born on February 10, 1930 in Racine, Wisconsin to Rasmus and Frida Thomsen.  He was a member of the Union, local 180, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Mike LeRoy, brothers-in-law; Bernie Odders, Donald Johnson, Joseph (Patricia) Masik, and Ray Olesen.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Janet Thomsen, son, Kai Thomsen, daughters; Kamma (Barry) Kondrad, Jill LeRoy, Lynn (Dave) Tevis, sisters, Lillian Odders, and Kamma Johnson, grandchildren; Kai Hagren, Dana Hagren, Nathan (Kristyn) LeRoy, Margaret (Michael) Hutchens, and Stephan (Kiana) Peterson, great-grandchildren; Kelly, Kia, Kade, Kayla, Kai, and Logan, sister-in-law, Myrna Olesen, and many nieces and nephews.
