Alease Ferrell

A Celebration of Life service for Alease Ferrell, age 95 of Clarksville, will be Sunday, February 7, 2021 at 2:00 PM. Pastor Jerry Jeter will officiate. Burial will follow at Hayes Cemetery in Cumberland Furnace, TN where she will be laid to rest next to her late husband, Coyse Vernon Ferrell. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:00 PM until the hour of service. Alease passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Spring Meadows Healthcare. She was born on November 19, 1925 in Slayden, TN to Mack and Dellar Lewis Schmittou. Alease was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family, quilting, and gardening.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Roy Schmittou. She is survived by her children, Maxine (Joseph) Cariani, Danny (Dana) Ferrell, and Timothy Ferrell; grandchildren: Crysta Abbott, Neil Cariani, Tate Cariani, Debbie Ferrell, Christopher Ferrell, Billy Cariani, and Katie Cariani; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; and sister, Alice Hill.

Pallbearers will be Terry "Agnes" Abbott, Neil Cariani, Jeff Young, Jordan Davis, Jackson Davis, and Daniel Ross.
