1Sg Michael Flood, Army (Ret)

A Celebration of Life service for 1SG Michael "Mike" Flood, ARMY (Ret), 64 of Clarksville, TN will be Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service on Wednesday. Burial will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West with full military honors rendered. Mike passed away on January 13, 2021. He was born in Pensacola, FL on January 13, 1957. Mike was a 25 year veteran of the United States Army. He was devoted to the Screaming Eagle Honor Flight program, which he started in Clarksville. He accompanied every flight to Washington DC .

He is survived by his three children: Melissa Ayers, Kaylee Flood, and Austin Flood; siblings: Martha Caughey, Mark Flood, Matthew Flood, and Mary Norrell; The Bourgeois and Dehart families who fostered him as a teenager; and his best buddy, Tori Adams.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mike's name to Screaming Eagle Honor Flight , P.O. Box 20075, Clarksville, TN 37042.
